I have a daughter who is 15 (soon to be16) who is not on social media. We took her of social media last year Feb time due to photos being shared with her then boyfriend who began threats of sharing them. To cut the story short this resulted in loosing friends, bullying, self harm and a bad relationship with social media for her. She has requested to go back on instagram and snapchat and im really torn as to what to do. I still dont think she is wise enough to go back on but yhen kids should make their own mistakes to learn? Any help?

She's almost 16. I think that answers your question!

You have to let her back on it eventually, her asking signals that she thinks she is ready. I'd give it a go but monitor closely.
