Are these nice? I’m 44 and quite like the athleisure trend. Not sure I could carry them off with trainers, but with the leg-lengthening heels?

They’re Fenty Puma so $300, but I reckon I’d wear them to death.

They look so comfy. Might have to invest in a pair of those lovelies myself. 😂

Kitchenbound · 28/03/2018 02:45

Personally I don't like them. But my basic rule with fashion choices is wear what you like and feel comfortable in - my only advice would be to try them on with the shoes before you buy them to make sure ☺

Great for JLo but a no for the general public.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 30/03/2018 08:55

Don't wear them at the height of summer, you might end up with very strange tan lines

Runningissimple · 30/03/2018 09:02

I'd be worried about my vpl. Would you wear them to work or just for school pick up? Grin

FlaviaAlbia · 30/03/2018 09:06

Do it, the baffled gazes of the general public will make them worth every penny Grin

I used to have a pair of trousers with zips when I was in uni, I though I was the bees knees Grin

drivingmebananas · 30/03/2018 09:38

Ugh they look cheap and trashy

I was thinking of more ‘dressy’ occasions; I have a wedding to attend later this month, and I’m also giving a presentation at a conference in May.

A wedding ?! Besides the fact I think they're truly revolting, you couldn't possibly wear them to a wedding!

Unless you're on the wind up, in which case, you got me Grin

OakIsBetterTho · 30/03/2018 10:03

Oh I just saw your second post Blush for shame! I must read threads properly 😂

HuskyMcClusky · 30/03/2018 10:04

Oh god, sorry, no Grin - to be clear, they are disgusting and I’m totally joking (and wanted a crack at the new topic).

I would have a hard time finding knickers to match those.

OakIsBetterTho · 30/03/2018 10:06

I am hopeless 😂 In my defence, my younger sister does wear a pair not dissimilar to those in your post... she could literally wear anything and look wonderful, but why those?! 😭

Eatmycheese · 30/03/2018 12:46

This post is a couple of days early is it not 😉

Eatmycheese · 30/03/2018 12:47

Ah I see.
I did chuckle at the presenting a conference outfit idea though

Mrsmadevans · 30/03/2018 13:50

I just want to know where you found these to have a look at their back catalogue have a Christening to attend Wink

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 30/03/2018 14:13

I think they are marvellously adaptable.
If you gain weight, you just let the laces out a bit!

Olympiathequeen · 31/03/2018 09:40

I’m so glad this is a joke.

Saves me from making a hideously sarky comment 😀
