What do we think of this bodycon dress?

I just bought it to wear to a conference, and I can't decide if it's too much!

Smart dress. The only thing I would worry about is the split.

What sort of conference, and is it along the lines of what you usually wear?

I'd wear that for business. The dress looks below the knee so the split would barely be above the knee. It's fine.

It's for an academic conference, and I normally wear quite funky clothes. Well ok, wear unusual combinations that people comment on.

Pigeon, I recommend Homeyee dresses, they are excellent quality for the price (generally around 20 quid) and the fit is good.

Ooooh, that is a lovely dress. It is office smart and I think of powerful women wearing this to meetings etc. Think along the lines of Jessica and Donna in the tv show Suits.

Aw, thanks Sox. I do love the sharp, pencil-skirt/peplum dress look but with something a bit alternative thrown in. This seems to do the trick, just hope it looks good on!
