Many of you may be aware there has been much discussion in the media of late regarding operations following childbirth to correct continence issues. My SIL has been debating for moths whether she should have an operation she's been offered to correct her mild incontinence. She'd been more or less convinced to go ahead with it, then last night saw a short documentary on YouTube indicating some of the things that can go wrong, and now isn't so sure. I'm not sure how many people are aware of some of the devastating problems some ladies have had, although understand others have had none. I was just curious has anyone had this done and regretted this, or would you chance it and go ahead anyway? If anyone wanted to watch, this is the link....

The other reason I'm curious is I had this myself about 2 years ago and haven't had a problem. But could I develop one? And should I see my doctor or leave well alone?Difficult to know what to do for the best for either of us!
