Ivy or stripes?

Redecorating our master bedroom, this is for the wall behind the bed. We have a bed, nightstand, wardrobe etc from this range

Stripes. The ivy looks "alive" - think it would be too much as a whole wall.

I think I prefer the ivy, it's softer and more interesting than the stripes. But both are nice

Ivy for the baby and stripes for the wall.

Definitely stripes if you're planning to sell soon - neutral and inoffensive. The ivy is a 'love it or hate it' design.

The ivy is straying into 'feature wall' territory - ok (I suppose) if you adored it and were going to live in the house for 20 years, but definitely not if you are planning to sell.

Slightly off topic, but what is a Nightstand?

Bedside table. No idea where I picked the term up from (probably from spending 3 years constantly checking the price of the bloody things on the website until they were on sale at a price that didn't make me feel queasy - lesson learned for the next time I chose a bed frame!)
