I have three children. The two oldest are 6 and 7 ( boy and girl born 10 months apart). My youngest is 2 and a half. I can totally relate to you with everything you say. My kids constantly fight, tease each other and argue about every thing . It gets me so down and I have wondered numerous times 'is this normal'
Lately I don't enjoy being a parent and I spend all my time separating them. If I leave the room to do things around the house I can expect within a few seconds for one of them to scream/cry. They all in their own way contribute to the fighting, they all no what buttons to press with one another and with me. I give them an equal amount of time, I do regular activities with them, they do a lot of activities outside of school.
They have outstanding reports at school and are nice to each other at school but at home they are violent, evil little shits that love being little bastards to one another. They get off on it, they get a kick out of hurting one another and the only time I get just 5 mins of peace and quiet is when they are asleep.
When either of them is alone with me I have no problems, they act like angels
Is this what I have to look forward to the rest of my life......
While I'm writing this my daughter is screaming that her brother has his scooter on her bed......
