Gift for 80 year old neighbour?

I have wonderful neighbours, who have been so good to us over the years. The husband is turning eighty soon and I would really like to make a gesture to show how much we love and appreciate them, but I've no idea what to do. They want for nothing and my three young children and I have nothing, so it can't be expensive. His health is declining lately and he is on a restricted diet (I had thought of making a cake, but there are lots of things he can't eat now). Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Copy of a newspaper from his birthdate?

Just put birthdate newspapers into google.

Gave this to 90 year old aunt & she was thrilled & fascinated by it.

My dad turned 80 last year. TBH, if you don't have much money, he wouldn't want you to spend anything on a gift, but he would love a card with a really nice message in it, and perhaps some drawings done by your dc.

Drawings done by the kids and a lovely card would be perfect, totally agree with biscuit

Thank you for your lovely suggestions! We did a combination in the end - the children googled events that occurred the year he was born and made a beautiful book. It was really lovely and he was delighted! Thanks again!
