I had a parcel due to arrive tomorrow (my day off work) it arrived today and I didn't realise until I got in from work and found the DHL card to say it was with a neighbour who lives 6 doors away.

So I went straight to the house to collect the parcel (I do not know them) the man who answered the door said he had no parcel there belonging to me, I showed him the card and he said it must be a mistake.

So I rang DHL and was told by them to phone amazon, where it was ordered from. Amazon told me to phone back DHL for confirmation as to where the parcel was delivered.

DHL (more helpful person this time) got in touch with the driver and phoned me back to say it was definitely delivered to said neighbour and was signed by them.

My DP this time went back to the neighbour and asked if there was any chance anybody else in the household may have took in my parcel, the man said no and that he lives alone.

The item was just under £60 Confused

WWYD next? Or has anybody been in a similar situation, how did you resolve it? Please help!

Call amazon and tell them to resend as you have not received your parcel.

Unless you specify a specific safe place/neighbour it's their responsibility to deliver your parcel to you, not a random person on your street.

This exact thing happened to me and I got a replacement at no cost.

Weird about your neighbour though, did they get a signature for delivery? They usually take a last name ect.

They said it was a 'signed for' item and also had the last name. My partner asked if he was Mr........ and the neighbour said yes but said he didn't have the parcel and didn't sign for anything. I will try phoning amazon again and see what they say. Thank you x
