Baptism present

Hi wasn't sure where to post this. I'm attending a baptism for the child of my fiancé's friend. I don't know the mother that well (fiancé is friends with the child's dad, not really close friends though) I'd like to make a good impression as it's kind of them to invite us and I want to encourage the friendship for my partner. What's an appropriate present to get? I don't want to give money or vouchers. Is it ok to get some wooden toys/puzzles etc? Or is that not christening enough? The child is 9 months old. What would you get? Thanks

Depends how much you want to spend. Georg Jensen does some lovely silver coloured items for children. I like the forks and the elephant themed items.
