Help needed - babies skin

Vicki9130 · 26/11/2017 12:50

I started weaning my baby at 6 months and also changed washing powder at the same time. I don't know if it's coincidental but my baby started coming up with dry skin. Mentioned it to health visitor and she said just keep an eye on it. It has progressively got worse and the doctors just keep giving me moisturizers that are not doing anything. It is on his back and his front and on his neck but it doesn't seem to bother him. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just to also say, we have stopped using lenor and have gone back to fairy - did this about a month ago

Have you heard of the child's farm products? Might be worth trying. They are gentle and ok for eczema prone skin.

I would suspect food sensitivities. Could you keep a food diary?

Vicki9130- did you ever find out what this was? My baby has the exact same rash—it’s the closest picture we’ve been able to find on the internet. Any follow up is much appreciated!
