A mum quite happily conversing with her roughly 8/9 year old in a restaurant at this time, daughter being good, mum drinking a full bottle of white to herself?

I'd rather have lunch with her than the 'tutty' couple!!

I've done this before, quite often works out cheaper than buying 2 separate glasses of wine.

You would have seen me do similar. I have a loyalty card with a certain restaurant which results in a free bottle of wine when I dine during months which, they decide, have 'special' dates; birthday, anniversaries etc.
I have a glass and a half with my meal and take the rest home for later.
