How do I stop receiving notifications about what other people are liking, or reacting to?

For example, if one of my friends’ keeps liking/reacting to posts/adverts constantly, but I don’t want to unfriend? Driving me bonkers. Thanks in advance.

If you go to their profile, click on where it says you're friend and you'll get some options. If you hide them you'll still be friends but won't get any of their stuff in your news feed. About 90% of my FB friends are hidden!
