Just received a lovely letter from Head of Year about DS. Should I reply?

Briefly, to say thank you, you agree entirely and thanks for being such a smashing school? (If you happen to think these things) Yes. I'd be delighted to receive that.

Thankyou. Primary school was awful for him and he never got any recognition. To receive this letter was fabulous

If I was the teacher I would appreciate your thanks and that he was happy at secondary after not enjoying primary.
