4 year old and tiredness

My little one is 4 years old.
Just recently he’s always complaining he’s tired. And I know he IS tired because he turns into a nightmare and cannot cope with being tired like his mum.
He goes to nursery three mornings a week. Eats well. Goes to bed at 7pm wakes about 6/6:30.
He hates going anywhere because ‘he’s tired’.
Is this his age? Should I take him to doctors? I’m at a total loss here.
Thanks

I think I would take him to get checked out. If nothing has changed but he is constantly tired he may have a virus or need extra vitamins. Impossible to guess. Make an appointment and see what the gp says. Hope he gets back to full mischief making soon.

I would take him to the gp. A blood test would determine whether there is anaemia or not. Also a virus might be the cause. In any case finding out asap is the best. Hope he gets back to his usual self very soon.

Thanks for the replies.
I took him to GP, they are going to arrange some blood tests to double check everything. Hoping it’s just a growth spurt!

It's good that he is being checked by the gp. Most probably due to a growth spurt but it's best when the gp decides the cause and the remedy so you can stop worrying.
