So out of the blue my partner of over 6 years proposed to me I said yes...
Just a bit of back story. I've never been the marrying type but I was also once not at all the child baring type and I now have three!
But basically I told my two closest friends... and all I get is 'o I never thought you would want to get married' there were not very excited at all for me ! They kept asking if I was sure I wanted to marry him we have never split up or had any major arguments or any forms of betrayals I was so shocked by there reaction. Especially as one is getting married herself soon and I've been nothing but supportive and excited for her ! To the point I made all 200 of her save the date cards !
I'm now struggling to arrange my own wedding as I just feel it has been ruined for us with these types of reactions
