Our decorator was taking some opaque film off our front bay window that was left by the previous owners, I was out but when I got him he said the window is cracked while he was rubbing off the residue. It's quite a big crack, he apologised but didn't offer anything else. I think it's fine to leave for now but obviously needs replacing.
Should I be asking him for some money towards repair? Should he have insurance that covers breakages?
