I desperately want to save my marriage

Help! I've lost my marriage. I've been with my partner for 6 years, married for 1. We have 2 beautiful children together and things have taken a turn for the worse. He decided last week there was no 'spark' any more. He decided the only solution was to leave, he looked at houses to rent and started making the process. He was working at a 60th wedding celebration and came back to our family home. He decided that he wanted that for us and if we make time for each other that would be our future too. I was beyond happy to cancel previous plans and make it work. Exactly a week later he asked if I was happy, I said yes! He asked for a word so we went upstairs for him to announce he won't be staying with me because we are more like friends and there isn't anything there to stay for. I asked if he had found someone else but he is determined there is no one and it is because we have grew apart and there is no fixing things. I mentioned that the children have just went into reception and nursery so we could have the day to ourselves (depending on his work schedule). We could have dates and try to reconnect but he said it's too late. What can I do, my suggestions are 'too late' but I really want to make this work. Any other suggestionsSad
