this might be a bit of a boring one but I need opinions. I have a 3 year old (4 in may next year) and i'm trying to work out when best to try for a second. My oh will be looking for a new job next september after he finishes his phd so there is a possibility we might have to move to where ever he gets work (meaning i'll have to leave my job too). So, should we try now and aim for a june/july 18' baby (i know it's not easy to plan conception...but assuming i'll get pg quickly) or would you wait until we've moved and then try (but by then my dd will be 4 going on 5). I've also got to consider maternity pay- as if we move i'll have to leave my job and i'd get less mat pay. Or i guess the third option would be wait until we'd moved and i find a new job THEN try for a baby.... i'm just conscious of the age gap. Opinions on what you'd do please!

I don't think there's ever a 'right' time to have a baby if you scrutinise everything in your life.
As for age gaps, I have four teenagers (17, 15 & twins 13), and I also have a 2 year old!
Good luck in whatever you decide to do - you'll make it work no matter what you choose Smile
