Why did you give up?
Presumably you thought you had a problem with drink, or were heading that direction?

I would say that giving up needs to be combined with other steps - change in sleeping / eating / exercise,
new approach to friendships/relationships that are no longer alcohol based/dependent
serious self reflection and the invention of a new way of relating to people and the world

I'm not surprised you feel a bit flat. You probably don't know what to do with yourself. Building a new life takes time, and trial & error to find out what you enjoy.

Give yourself time. Set small but achievable goals. Maybe get some professional support or group support to help you work through it.

Good luck. It's an important and very significant step you've taken.
