Would you leave a 13 Year old with a just turned 5 Year old whilst popping out for 30 minutes?
13 Year old is really sensible. I am shattered but I have a few urgent errands to run. Taking Dd3 is of course possible but it takes twice as long.
All set to do it but saw case of mother getting a police caution for doing this so I am questioning my own decision.

Is the just turned 5 year old going to accept the 13 year olds authority or be a little brat. That would be my main concern. I can leave my very sensible 10 year old in charge of my 7 year old when I pop out for 10 minutes as I know they won't move from the Xbox and DS2 would not play up for DS1. If the 5 year old is likely to try it on then I don't think it is fair on the 13 year old to put them in that position.

Yes I would.

I think I would, I have a sensible 12 year old who is quite happy entertaining her sister while I have a bath, do washing etc.

The 5 Year old should be happy if I put the TV on.
