Teddys and soft toys!

Trying to have a massive clear out, I have 5 boxes of teddys and soft toys dc have been given over the years! Beautiful jellycat animals etc. I've held onto them because I can't face throwing them away but both my dc have no interest, I don't like clutter so hate to have them 'displayed' but the time has come to get rid! Anyone have any ideas what to do with them? I hate the thought of just giving them to a charity shop, also, they were all gifts and i feel bad throwing them all out! What would everyone else do?

Local children's ward, hospice?

If you have local food bank or baby bank they'd probably appreciate them.

Children's ward probably won't take them because of possible germs Sad

Woman's refuge would probably love them, can give them to kids as they turn up there, it's always good to have something to cuddle and tell your problems to

Perhaps a charity shop might be your best bet as children's hospitals/wards can't accept any toys that aren't 'wipe clean' for infection control reasons.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'll contact the women's refuge tomorrow!!
