Luxury items

Is spending £50 a fortnight on cannabis excessive? I don't go out, I hardly drink, and I don't really spend any money on myself other than my habit. How much do you all spend on luxuries like cigarettes, alcohol or cannabis?

They aren't luxuries.

They are drugs.

So I spend 0 on any. .

If you have a high income and no money worries,meh.. not the best thing to spend your money on.

If however you are struggling ,yes it's daft and quite a lot of money.

YY Cannabis is not a luxury item, it's drugs.

I have never smoked or taken drugs, and I have the odd Southern Comfort and Coke.

CollieXDoggo · 01/08/2017 22:09

Sparklingbrook, alcohol is also a drug, and in fact a more dangerous one than cannabis.

As for the original post, it really depends on if it is impacting your life in any way, if you can afford food, clothing etc then no.

Luxuries for me would be nice coffee in a coffee shop, or the odd bar of chocolate/frozen cocktail to have in the evenings. Can't spend more than a tenner a week, not through financial necessity but because these things don't cost much money.

I will be very careful when drinking my Southern Comfort don't worry. Wink
