Hi all
I've recently moved to a new property where the bedroom is a lot smaller than my previous bedroom. I took my large Ikea pax wardrobes which can still fit, but there is a built in closet in the new house.
My question is should I keep my existing pax wardrobes for more storage or get rid and purchase some chest of draw and utilise the built in closet as best I can. The built in closet can hang clothes and also has a shelf, but the shelf is a little too high for me so i'd put my shoes up there. I quite like the idea of chest of draws as given it's a small room, the lower the units I would imagine the more spacious the room would feel. Either that or I could keep the wardrobe and get glass doors, though I'm not a fan of the glass doors in Ikea.
Just to note: although my room is small it can accommodate the wardrobes with hinged doors, I just wanted to mention this to save anyone from advising on sliding doors as this is not an option, due to the arrangement of my wardrobes.
What option would you go for?
