What would you do at 38+3?

I'm 38+3. DH has gone to work and will be home about 6pm. DC1 & DC2 (age 2 & 4) have gone to a family member for the day (& night) - for the first time through pregnancy.

DH has worked away for much of pregnancy so I have well & truly had my hands full. This is the first day I've had to myself.

I'm contemplating staying in bed with copious amounts of food (particularly cheesecake) and working my way through tv catch ups. OR do I do something productive and not 'waste my day'??

Any suggestions / what would you do?

Stay in bed! Have a bath and pretend to be a whale but that was probably just me

Stay in bed if you feel like it! There's no way you don't deserve to.

But if there's somewhere lovely for brunch, and maybe a film at cinema/art gallery/exhibition you fancy (or whatever, depending on where you live/what you like) then I might do that and THEN retire to bed with cheesecake for the afternoon...

I don't need to pretend, I'm pretty whale like as it is at this stage Grin
