Comments on posts

Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to see someone's comments on a friend's post on Facebook? It's obvious that there is a conversation happening in the comments on the post but I can only see the comments by one person, not by the other person.

I'm just curious because there is only one person who I have blocked on Facebook but I really can't imagine that those hidden comments are by her, I don't think the original poster can stand her either and the conversation seems to be very light hearted.

Would someone else who I'm not friends with have set their privacy settings so that only their friends can see their comments on other people's posts (even if I am friends with the original poster?) or has someone else blocked me?

I thought that was when you're blocked by someone. Its an option to block everything that person can see. May be a security setting but can't remember seeing it.

Mmm interesting. I wonder if it's the girl I have blocked then, would find it a bit odd if it was her but would make sense as to why I can't see the comments. Anyway, I blocked her to help get her completely out of my life and here I am pondering whether or not she's involved in this silly conversation about nothing, typical!

If they block you, you would be able to see what they write. The same as if you block them.

Try unblocking her to see if you can see the comments then reblock!

The problem is if you unblock someone you can't re block them straight away

It could be someone's privacy settings couldn't it? Not necessarily you personally blocked, more like everyone who isn't their friend.

I think theirs a new privacy setting where you can keep your posts private from people who isn't on your friends list .,

Thanks! Guess it's either her or someone I'm not friends with who has made everything private if you're not friends with them. Not really important, I was just curious, and I don't fancy unblocking her to find out!
