Regarding stolen packages

I'm so livid right now!! Yet another package has been stolen from the communal area in my flat. I can't claim it back from the retailer as the delivery driver was my dad Blush I always get them delivered to my parents house due to the fact I have had packages stolen from this address before. My buzzer wasn't working so my dad texted me saying he had posted it through the main letter box, within the 5 minutes of me checking my phone and going to collect it, it was gone!

The items are of no major major value, I think they came to £54 in total so it isn't the end of the world but it's just the sheer audacity! My partner left a note on the communal front door which I haven't read yet as I know I will find it cringe. But my questions are:

  1. Would I be unreasonable to plant an expensive looking package of baby shit to teach the thieves a lesson?
  2. If not baby shit, what else could I do to stop the arsehole from getting away with it?!

Glitter bomb. With a note.. thieving bastard. Hope you enjoy the glitter bomb. This stuff is hardcore you will be cleaning the stuff for years. Take my stuff again and you will have a lovely package of shit. Or maybe rotting meat maggots and all. You wanna risk it?

Definitely try the glitter bomb and do it two or three times in case it's not the same person being light fingered each time!!! (Unless there is only one other party able to access the communal area).
