Golliwogs

One of the ladies at the school drop off/pick up has two golliwogs hanging from the coat hook in her car. Should I say something to her and if so, what should I say?

I hate gollies with a passion but I probably wouldn't mention it unless it came up in conversation.

What sort of thing were you thinking of saying? Do they offend you and do you think it's been done to offend. Or are you hoping to educate her?

I was startled to see them but they don't personally offend me. I was wondering whether I have a social obligation to challenge this form of racism.
