Ok so I know this sounds petty but I'm just a little annoyed. I wanted to know how other people would deal with it and if it's something that would annoy them. So basically my sister if 5 years younger and has a history of copying me. I guess now that we are married and have kids I would expect she would now have her own style. By the way we have very different personalities. Anyway, we bought a new house and put furniture in. Her husband knows it irritates me when they copy. He came to our house and laughs off "oh we should copy this sofa". Me and my sister stayed quiet and felt awkward. This sofa is nothing special it just shows my husbands mature style. So, one year later they move into there new house. My sister and her husbsnd tell us they bought the same sofa, oak furniture for there kids (my kid has all oak furniture in his room) and oak table (we also have oak dining table). Is this not weird? Do people copy other people's furniture? Am I overreacting?
