Hi everyone , hope someone can help
Why do I always pick friends who just dump me after a short period of time. I've just had two dump on me In the last 12 months. I think it's because I'm nice and friendly and people seem to take the mic. They change overnight and don't want to know you. My son says don't worry mum. I just wish it would stop happening. Even having nightmares about it.
Thank-you don't know what to do Sad

And the mystery of your being dropped by people is solved... you can't really think your reaction here has been in any way proportionate?

Warwick has a point. Many years ago, I realised I was a bit needy and had to change. I didn't want to admit to it but it was hindering me in some ways.
You'll get some excellent and honest advice here but I don't think most people are going to "pussyfoot" around. One of the reasons I love MN TBH...

You're probably right, you're too nice. Grin

I have to apologize- I forget to use commas when Im5pissed off, too. I make up for it in other punctuation.

OP, I was that needy person once. I thought that, because she was answering when I pinged, it was ok to ping a zillion times a day.

Please take what me and PP's have said on board? We are trying to help. We are giving you advice from other perspectives.
