I was unexpectedly called over to my parents house tonight, to help run an errand! They live about a 20 minute drive from mine. I left at half 7 and while driving over I passed an old man walking with a big rucksack on his back, he was on the outskirts of town H heading towards town S, they are linked by a long winding B road!
So I get to my parents run the errand and go back to theirs for a chat, head home at 8.45. On the way back I pass the man he is about half way down the road walking towards town S. He is going so slowly and it is getting dark! I have a pang of wanting to take him someone where safe, but I don't stop and head home. I can't help thinking he needs help! Would any one have stopped? What would you have done?
