Should I sell my wedding dress?

Hi all, just after some opinions on whether you should sell your wedding dress.
I absolutely love my wedding dress, it's so beautiful, I sometimes take a reminiscing peek at it now and again. But it has basically sat in our wardrobe for the last 8 years. I haven't had it cleaned as it has quite a lot of detail, I've been quoted £200+. Also seems a little pointless to spend such an amount to pack it away and never look at it again.
But now we are moving house... it's just taking up space. I am considering selling it but I know I will miss it when it's gone!
Should I keep it and let it hang there, maybe eventually be moth eaten, or sell it and make a couple hundred pounds? What do other people do with their dress?

Sell it! I am ruthless with getting rid.of clothes and clearing clutter. The only reason in my mind that anyone would .want to.keep a dress is if they wanted to pass it down to a daughter. Spend the money on a night away in a hotel with your hubby!

If it's 8 years old and hasn't been cleaned I can't imagine anyone would want to buy it.

It's a designer dress and obviously has only been worn once, being a wedding dress. So where it hasn't been cleaned, it's not exactly covered in mud either. I have done my research, people do still look for this specific dress and willing to pay a lot of money it, even second hand.
But thanks, PP.
