Hi I have just started a gift website and would love a mum or dad to do a guest blog about holding a special occasion for their children e.g Christening, Birthday party. Something quirky and light hearted I am new to blogging and not sure how it all works so any advice greatly received x

Not obvious what you want - you want somebody to write a story that you'll post on your site (guest blogger's post) or you want to write something for somebody else website to promote your site?

Actually, in the beginning you have to get to understanding how the things work. Then ask what is the best way to make it done. Doing guest blogging only because everybody else doing it is a wrong thing to do... or it's a starting from wrong end.
