Ok. So my ds6 is a troubled boy. He has what the ep called undiagnosed asd. He struggles with friends and has lost/gained bf's all the whole time he's been at school. So it's his birthday in a week. He requested 3 weeks ago 5 friends he wanted at his soft play/bowling party. Now hes having major meltdowns because two of the boys and one of the girls he invites he has umbridge with and won't have them. They of course have accepted and I'm on very good terms with the mums. Do i keep the list or fall on the sword of parenthood and uninvite the poor kids who have accepted and probably bought presents. His moods are so violent and frequent I don't know if I can cope with the fall out. I hate the not knowing how he'll react . My nerves are shot as is. Frankly I want to disappear into my room with a bottle of vodka but I can't ..so my question is dear mumsnetters. What would you do?
