Wedding gift amount/what is Traditional Scottish Dress code?

My husband and I have been invited to a wedding and the dress code says "Traditional Scottish Wedding". Would regular wedding attire work or are they expecting something else?

Also wondering what an appropriate amount of money to give as a wedding gift.

Regular wedding would be fine. Some of the men will be in kilts but not everyone and some of the women may wear tartan sashes/ highlights of tartan but you won't look at all odd in normal wedding kit.

Excellent, thank you!

Is it a ceilidh? You will need shoes you can dance in!

Yes, there is a ceilidh in the evening ... Gotta remember a change of shoes!

I admittedly don't know a lot (=anything) about traditionally Scottish weddings.

But I personally would wear "regular" formal wedding attire.
