Hardly surprising given how quick it moved and the sizeable age gap but v sad. Poor Kylie.
Apparently he got close to a Spanish actress whilst filming. That's original!

Doubt it. He had self confessed addiction issues. She is a gay icon but not on my gaydar, not that I would care if she was bi. Better finding out it would not work out with her beau now rather than later though. It's a shame, her desert island discs had a lovely reading by him.
An age gap can work: Joan Collins is still happy.

No way! When I saw her play the Royal Albert Hall before Xmas, she was totally mady loved up and gushingly dedicated a song to him. (He was sat in a box blowing kisses, sat by Dolce and Gabbana!). He then came on at the end to give her a fucking giant bunch of flowers, cue big kiss and PDA BUT they then left the stage separately which looked a bit awkward. I remember thinking it was weird that she didn't go hand in hand with him but left him to follow in her trail- it looked unnatural.

That's the thing that gets me, nd I iknow it probably wrong to think it, but she's Kylie.... Surely if any woman could click her fingers and have an amazing partner who adores the very ground she walks on, it'd be her?

She seems to really have problems in her love life and just about every man she gets with is an ass.

No, not everyone wants to have babies but when you're hitched to a wife who's 50 your options if you change your mind are rather more limited.

She's been 48 for ages. She really hasn't. She's been 10 years older (to the day) than my pal. We read that fact in Smash Hits or Mizz or similar on a bus when we were going swimming with school.
My friend was very excited.

I don't normally give a shit about celeb stuff but for some reason this made me a bit sad. I think it's because I saw an interview with her talking about him and she seemed so loved up.

she'd never really been one to talk about her love life openly so it seemed like she must really have liked him to do so and thought it was permanent.

Age gap relationships where the woman is much older rarely work out well unless (a) the woman is young enough to have kids and they do it quickly (Sam Taylor Johnson/ Hugh Jackman) or (b) the man is old enough to have had kids already and either didn't want them or is in a second life stage (Percy Gibson/Joan Collins).

Younger men are going to want children and will end up leaving (Ashton Kutcher/Demi Moore).

Kylie needs a nice successful older business man who has success of his own and won't be leeching off her/using her for fame.
