Hair disaster!

Didn't really know where to post this.

I have my hair coloured professionally every month or two, it is (was) a dark chestnutty brown colour. Very dark, yes, but clearly brown.
I've needed it topping up for a while but it's not been a money priority what with Christmas coming up and stuff, so I thought "fuck it, I'll buy a box dye, £6, what could go wrong?"
So I bought a box dye with a woman on it who's hair colour was pretty similar to my own, described as "rich dark brown".

My hair has gone jet black. It looks ridiculously harsh and doesn't suit my complexion or eyebrows! I look really weird and scary!
What in the fucking Nora do I do? I can't afford to get it fixed professionally right now, but by the Christ I can't look like Wednesday Addams for another few months!
How can I lighten it up a bit or get some colour out?! BlushGrin

It will lighten as you wash it.

What number was the colour ?

OohNoDooEy · 09/12/2016 10:36

Wash it with pantene.

Oh that's reassuring!

It's a nice and easy one, colour R4.

There's a product called colour b4 or something like that which is supposed to strip out the new colour? Think it was promoted by Katie price.
