Is my husband having an affair?

So my husband takes my daughter to dance classes once a week and he spend the time talking to the mother of another child for the 40 mins he's outside waiting for the class to finish. He never answer any messages and always comes home talking about this woman. One day he could not take my daughter and I took her and the woman seemed disappointed he wasn't there. All she did was to talk about him! He has her number, Facebook and email address. He has lied to me saying that he doesn't have her number. He asked me to invite her and her child to my daughter's party because the kids get own well. He arrived at the end of the party from work and she got all excited and both seemed to look at each other different, you know with shining in their eyes.

So do you think there's something going on?

It sounds like they definitely fancies her but, while it may be upsetting to witness, it is fairly normal in the course of a long relationship to fancy other people. Personally, I think if he's talking about her to you then that's a good sign that that's all there is to it. It's when he stops mentioning her to you at all that you have to worry...

All of that is from an outsiders perspective though. I would probably flounce about making sarcastic comments because I'm super mature when I get emotional.

I agree with above post. Perhaps her fancies her and they get on really well. I don't think you can jump to the conclusion that they're having an affair, just like each other?

Probably not an affair....yet.

Talk to him, he needs to put an end to this before it develops into something they can't stop.

I'd be doing the dance class run from now on too.
