Toddler falling out of bed

Hello,

I have just had to take the cot bars off my DD bed so she's now in just a bed. I have the rail thingy from Lindam so she can't roll out however I found her at 4am this morning crying as she's fallen over the foot of the bed. Any suggestions to avoid this as well? X

could you put a pillow under the sheet on the mattress to create a kind of speed bump?
