Anyone else follow @aliceinherpalace on Instagram? I've become very slightly obsessed with her feed in a "love to hate" type way. Obviously I don't know her at all but I find myself both fascinated and irritated by her lifestyle.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Or do I? I think she is very, very stylish and makes the most of herself in every way. I really do love looking at her clothes and the styling she does of both events and clothes. On the other hand she's either/both been born with the silver spoon or landed on her feet and she's def not afraid to flaunt it. I'm normally pretty live and let live but it does stir up the old socialist flame when you actually get to see how the other half live. See also: Rose Astor etc.

eyespy I know what you mean about the old socialist flame but then most of us on here, even those who are on pretty tight budgets, are rich beyond the wildest dreams of many people in the world.

I suppose part of the reason she's so into clothes/styling things is that there's not much else for her to do. I mean they have nannies and housekeepers, so she has to make a life for herself somehow. I don't mean to diminish her talents in that area, I'm just saying that as it's her career as well as something that we all have to do (get dressed), the results are appropriately impressive.
