Is it contagious? Imagine him passing it on to all his fellow freshers ! Will a couple of days extra at home sort him out? What does his GP say, is he on antibiotics or aything?

Smile at gladiator fever. Why don't you call the gp surgery for advice. Hope all goes well.

My son did his freshers week now has "Freshers Flu" and is "dying" but still able to go out with his mates and attend lectures :)

I am assuming your DS is an adult who can decide for himself what he needs to do? What does he say? They are all ill by the end of Freshers weeks anyway. My DD2 is into her 3rd week and still has a horrible cold but is managing just fine.

chimpfield, 'fresher's flu' seems to consist mostly of hangover symptoms around these parts Grin
