I've been divorced almost a year and I've been thinking seriously about changing my name back to my maiden name. I don't feel happy being known by my married surname any longer as it feels like a part of 'Him' is still stuck to me, if that makes sense.
I've got two children, 11 and 13, and I've asked for their opinion. They don't seem to mind either way and I think they almost expected me to change my name following the divorce.
My question really is around whether there is something I haven't thought of. Are there any implications of changing my name that haven't occurred to me? Any personal experiences would be much appreciated.
