Ladies - I need help.... I deliberately over-invited for our housewarming BBQ on the assumption that since it was summer hols lots of people would be away. I now have the event in 2 weeks and I've got 51 adults and 41 kids coming - was expecting about 60 altogether......help!! what should I do ? Can't cancel as I am actually looking forward to it, but my lovely husband is going a bit ballistic about the potential cost....I need some mumsnet hive mind advice please :0) TIA x

Shock

So you have room for everyone but just need to make it inexpensive? Right?

Try Iceland?Grin

Maybe someone else can help. Bump.

eek, yes you'll need to stock up on food and drink and hope that you get lots of no-shows. is there a park near to you where some of the older children could decamp for a game of rounders? film and popcorn on for some of the younger kids.
