I'm going to do spa day because too hard to leave kids for a big night out or weekend.

Groovee · 02/08/2016 21:48

I wanted to do a trip to Las Vegas. But not looking likely. But more likely to be a spa day or afternoon tea. Will depend on how well I am.

Big massive party.

Brunch out with DH in a fancy pants hotel

Night in a posh hotel.

Why can't you get a babysitter?

I had a party at home for my 40th and then a really nice holiday away with family.

ninenicknames · 02/08/2016 22:00

I meant CAN get babysitter

What about a private dining room in a London restaurant?

Pollen St Social - but I've done it

China Tang? - bit too full of wankers

Arghhh fuck

I went to DD's parents evening on my 40th birthday. I also went on holiday to Mallorca all on my own for 3 nights a bit later on whilst DH looked after the kids - 'twas lovely

Wolseley has a really nice private table on a mezzanine floor seats maybe 12-14.

Sushi samba has private dining for 10.

SanityClause · 02/08/2016 22:14

I went to Brittany with DH, and my DC, and we stopped off at Le Havre on the way back, for my actual birthday. Le Havre was a bit of a disappointment, to be honest, but it's always nice being with the family. Smile

Sushi Samba .... Hmmm swaying towards that idea. Wink

Wow - 3 days on my own. That's top so far

What do you enjoy doing most?

I had a spa day followed by a luxurious afternoon tea, because that's what I enjoy doing.

Was also going to have a house party, but had to cancel that last minute as we had a family bereavement.
