Stop having her round, unless the mum usually comes too? Why is your 4 year old best friends with a 9 year old? They're at completely different life stages...

They aren't best friends. They are neighbours . Friend was five when dd was small and enjoyed playing with her and the friendship has grown. We've had her to help her mum out and vice versa and they play together fairly well and like each other.
