Stuck on a dessert island, what 3 items would you take?

Was helping a friend with a work marketing project and the age old 'if you were stranded on a dessert island, what 3 items would you want'? Came up.
I had a complete mind blank and came up with three boring things.

What would you want?

Spoon, cake knife, and a plate

A boat
An engine
A pallet of patrol drums.

Patrol should petrol

it would depend whether it's an arctic roll or isles flottant

I would like a flint thingy to make fire easily, a sturdy oilskin and a knife

A dictionary.

TheCrow and I are on the same wavelength here - I opened this thread with the thought that I haven't had iles flottantes for far too long !!!

I knew exactly what you meant, Crow, and am not 100% sure my spelling is correct, which does indeed carry a tiny ironic touch! (You can have my caramel bits - it's the custard/soft meringue combo that I yearn for.)

If I'm on a dessert island, I'm pretty much sorted. No extras required!

If I was on a dessert island I would want a banana boat to take me on trips across the toffee river to the banoffee mountain

Cheese on toast

I would take my family, our local fish and chip shop plus a big chocolate cake.

I cannot believe no one has said tweezers and mirror

Stout boots, a good knife and Ray Mears.

Insulin
Spot cream

A spoon, extra custard, and toffee sauce...

Or maybe, a tent, a Swiss army knife and a seed library.

What about a mobile phone, a signal and my husband,...?

Or Yacht, Husband, Perfume?
