...If it's true (and judging from the photos I think it might be) then I am so so happy and excited for her. Fingers crossed for a safe nine months!

I have just seen the photo and she is not pregnant. Having a lot more food and less exercise than usual. Grin

Her publicist has denied it.

I feel for her, she could have just let the diet and exercise slip while on holiday, also she could be going through IVF, which causes tummy bloat and weigh gain.

queen I only read about JA love life when she had lots of different partners- and what is wrong with that? I had no idea she was married, or that she'd been with him for four years. It was a genuine question and not meant nastily. I love JA's films, but don't follow her real life news. I'm so pleased for her if she is pregnant.

Jennifer isn't really a serial short-term dater; after Brad, there was Vince, after Vince, there was Justin, to whom she is now married. Hmm

Her rep has said it isn't true. I presume if it was true and they didn't want to say it to the media that they would decline to comment or is that me being naive?

"No comment" would just throw petrol on the media blaze.

IF she is in early pregnancy after a struggle to conceive and maybe mcs, you'd expect them to deny it.

Of course, they'd deny it f it was untrue, too.

She definitely looks pregnant to me. Any extra food would be distributed over her tiny frame Grin

I'd guess she's 18 weeks or so. She's not remotely fat. She looks so happy.

I'm genuinely happy for her. I find her so dignified and lovely out of all the celebs out there. Good luck to them both. I keep thinking of Rachael and her slow and stopping contractions!

(Btw who cares if she didn't conceive naturally?)

Why couldn't she be pregnant at 47??? It would hardly be the immaculate conception. The women in our family (including my mum) tend have regular periods right into their sixties Shock and late babies are fairly common.

I think with all the talk about career women and ivf we forget that there are lots of women who are fertile for 30 years or more of their life.

My MIL has chron's disease and when she has a flare up her stomach makes her look about 5/6 months pregnant. She is a thin woman so it is very noticeable. I dont know if JA suffers from any conditions but there are some that could swell her stomach without swelling the rest of her. If she was on holiday she could have eaten something she has an intolerance to.

Julian's having periods or ovulating doesn't mean you will fall pregnant and it's silly to pretend it's easy or common to fall pregnant at 47.
For most women it won't happen.

Of course she may have had assistance and That's fine of course, and no better or worse than a naturally conceived pregnancy but even that is more problematic at that age.

Not alone has she to deal with the rumours which might be hard if she would like a baby, but now is even more aware of the pressure to maintain her extremely thin (not slim) body. The woman probably ate carbs FGS and enjoyed her holiday. Back to gruelling hours in the gym and her baby food diet from now on!

I'm sure back in the day when I read Perez Hilton's awful blog there was a time when Jennifer had a few different men in her life? A singer who was a bit of a dick and messed her around? And what is with the 'bike of Hollywood' stuff?? Is there anything wrong with dating different people? Again- I didn't ask in a nasty way. I am regretting not just googling.

I think it's really awful to speculate about her like this. Poor woman can't have a large meal, or put on a few pounds without people speculating she is PG. It's not nice.

Most women have a sharp drop in fertility after the age of 40. 47? Really? Why aren't specialists telling women to leave it till their late 40's? Because conceiving a healthy child is very unlikely. I don't give a shiny shit how or even if JA is pregnant but I bet if she is she's had help.
