childs party - still go if we are both ill?

I am new to the child's party scene as my LO is two at the end of the month, so have only attended one so far!

LO is invited to one this week, but we both have a nasty cold, I have dark green snot and a nasty cough. She has the cough now, but her snot is a bit clearer. Its been a bastard of a cold, I haven't had one like this for years, I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself!

Would you still go to the party? Its only for two hours, but would it be bad etiquette to go when we are potentially going to spread it around? I don't know what to do! its so nice to be invited I don't want to piss anyone off!
