Hi all

I started a blog last week and a have made 7 posts. I have a few more planned to get going. I seem to have had quite a few views but not that many comments and wondered if you kind blogging experts would give me the benefit of your experience

Hi, few things;

why are you blogging? Is it a release for your feelings, a way of making money or to connect with other people and share your experience? Working out your USP will help with the rest of it.

I think your blog is well laid out, I would maybe add a sub-header under adopting siblings to spell out exactly what you are blogging about.

Social media is key to driving traffic to your blog, so lots of following and engaging with people on twitter so you have the 'social' part before getting them to retweet the link to your blog. Facebook, share your post on your profile and then any support groups you are involved in (assuming the key to the blog is adoption)

Comment and interact on other blogs on a similar theme.

Consider using owly or bitly for shortlinks in your tweets
