Lost phone and memory card!!!

So i recently lost my phone (had my phone nicked). Yes, I know it's not a huge deal, just a phone right? But the memory card had all my daughters pictures with no back up and I'm in pieces!
Wwyd? How do i get over this? Having to explain this so her when she's older and wonders why there are no baby pics from the first 3yrs of her life is going to break my heart because it's my own bloody fault for never backing the pics up.
Anyone else ever have to deal with this?

What phone did you have? Did you have an apple account? Of activated it may have your picture stored - 3 years of photos is a lot!

Gone through a few budget phones though never an iphone. You're right there's nothing i can do. Luckily found an old phone I'd used as a spare camera for xmas so got a few more. Just wish the prick who had my phone had the decency to return it.
