Yuk - underwear!!!

I have just discovered that my boyfriend only changes his underwear once a day - when he showers in the evening he puts clean ones on then sleeps in them all night, doesn't change them in the morning as I thought!! I know I am a bit fussy with cleanliness but is this normal for a bloke? I think it's disgusting!! Help 😥

Oh have a word with yourself I thought you were going to say once a week. How is he dirty. The only odd thing is wearing pants in bed

Just take his pants off overnight.

I'm sure you can find a pretext to do so.

Pointlessfan · 16/03/2016 07:30

Surely most people change their undies once a day??

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 07:33

I assumed he put clean ones on in the morning!! He sleeps in them as he's more comfortable!! Even if we had jiggy he would still put them back on!! I have only been with people who have put clean underwear on to go to work and after a shower! Pants I mean!! That's why I asked the question although I still think it's yuk!

Using the phrase 'have jiggy' is truly disgusting

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 07:37

😆 I am trying to remain anonymous - if I use words that I normally do someone might know me!!!

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 16/03/2016 07:38

Oh fgs you sound ridiculous!

Floggingmolly · 16/03/2016 07:40

had jiggy. Grin

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 07:41

Why so? And I am not goading here - that's why I wanted to ask the question - and get totally honest responses!! I just think that as they let's be honest have a wee and pop it back in they might get a bit yuk!

I think it's gross too OP and definitely wouldn't do it myself. You get sweaty at night, and it just feels much cleaner to shower and have fresh underwear each morning.

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 07:47

Tbh that's what I thought would be the general response - don't get me wrong he puts clean on after a shower but I think wearing them all night deserves a clean pair for work!!

Gileswithachainsaw · 16/03/2016 07:49

I think.its pretty gross too.chabge underwear morning and night

grim

diploddycus · 16/03/2016 07:49

Changing pants once a day is fine but I think clean ones every morning and no pants at night is the way to go. Wearing sweaty pants you've worn all night to work the next day is a bit gross.

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 07:50

Yes!!

Most people only change their pants once a day.

WienerDiva · 16/03/2016 07:57

I'm with you op

Herewegoagainfolks · 16/03/2016 07:59

Bonjour I'm assuming that people have misread you OP, because I'm with you that's not very nice.

Her BF puts on clean pants at bedtime and doesn't change them until bedtime the next day folks Confused

Don't worry OP the 'clean pjs every night' folks will no doubt be along to support you soon enough.

I'd buy him lots more pants and suggest he was unappealingly whiffy

Why would he be getting sweaty in bed? Yep I get he changes them at night - I think it's stranger that he wears pants to bed than it is to not change them in the morning.

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 08:06

He prefers his tackle supported!!

Bonjour345 · 16/03/2016 08:10

I am not like that about other items of clothing as most things you can wear twice before washing apart from gym stuff - it's just the underwear on for 24 hours - he doesn't sweat at night but I thought it was normal to put on clean ones for work!!

I think it's just a timing issue surely. Are you expecting a costume chang as frequent as Taylor Swift every 3 songs?
I don't think he's at all unusual

IHaveBrilloHair · 31/03/2016 18:19

I find this yuk too, changing them once a day is fine, but not at night, that's weird.
I sleep in underwear, clean at night, then clean after daily shower.
